2021 Nurse Recognition

CCSD has 130 school nurses throughout the district. They have extremely important roles in our schools, but this past year they have helped make the option to return face-to-face feasible. This year, on top of seeing ill or injured students, and administering medication, they have been tasked with contact tracing and other COVID related issues as we reopened schools. We are holding a drive-through recognition “party” for them and show them how much we appreciate them being one of the many Healthcare Heroes responsible for keeping our community healthy and informed.
