The AWS presents moving and powerful music from the contemporary wind band/esnemble repertoire: Zing! (Scott McAllister), Sweet Chariot (Atlanta native Carlos Simon), Juba Dance (Florence Price), and Give us This Day: Short Symphony by David Maslanka.

The AYWS portion of the program featues epics film music from Tombstone (Bruce Broughton), Far and Away (John Williams), The Red Pony (Aaron Copland), and Grand Canyon (James Newton Howard).
