Animal Explorers Summer Camp at the Humane Society of Memphis & Shelby County

Dive into the world of animal welfare and learn compassion, responsibility, and safety from Humane Society staff and other experts in the animal field.  Campers will get hands-on experiences with both dogs and cats as they learn about what makes them unique and what they need from us as their caregivers.  The Humane Society Animal Explorer Camp is ideal for children ages 8-12.

Camp activities include tours of our facility, observing daily animal care tasks, training pets with positive reinforcement, making crafts for animals in our care, and collaborative lessons with other community partners!
