We are experiencing the worst crisis in animal welfare history- nationwide- and it's taking its toll. We're seeing unprecedented numbers of animals requested for surrender yet a record low for adopters, fosters and donations.

Animals are staying longer in care (many, more than a year), veterinary costs have more than doubled and it's a challenge to keep up with just the most basic care needs. This is compounded by the fact that our facilities are showing their age- and need major repairs, maintenance and upgrades.
