In memory of Robert Reisinger
On May 17, 6D Helmets co-founder Robert Reisinger passed away from injuries sustained in a high-speed crash while racing at Glen Helen Raceway. A lifelong racer and engineer, Robert was a former pro motocross rider, a pioneer in mountain bike technology, and a visionary who helped redefine rider safety.
From developing groundbreaking suspension and braking systems to co-creating 6D Helmets’ revolutionary Omni-Directional Suspension technology, Robert’s impact reshaped motorsports and cycling safety worldwide. Above all, he was a devoted husband, father, and friend.
Robert is survived by his wife Kristina, son Nicholas, his father, and siblings. His legacy lives on in the countless riders he helped protect.
