Moira Tozier and Kristin Ford graduated from Gwynedd Mercy High School in 2000. They became friends again when Moira moved back to the area from Virginia in 2020. Moira decided on Saint Helena for her children and Kristin was already there with her family. Moira wanted to do something to contribute to the Kellan Ford Foundation. She approached Kristin about doing a fundraiser to benefit the foundation and to keep Kellan’s memory alive. Moira has a background in swimming and thought that may be the best way to initiate this type of event. Moira and Kristin met, combined ideas and BOOM here we are.
