Help Support Trevor Colip's Recovery
On May 31, 2025, professional motocross rider Trevor Colip crashed and broke his femur. What first appeared to be a routine injury quickly became life-changing. While being placed into traction at the hospital, Trevor became unresponsive. Doctors later determined fatty emboli entered his bloodstream and traveled to his brain, causing multiple strokes and resulting brain damage.
After extensive testing and multiple surgeries, the exact leak path allowing the emboli to bypass his body’s natural filtering system has not yet been found. Due to the ongoing risk, Trevor’s femur was repaired on June 14 using plates and screws instead of a traditional rod.
Trevor is now alert and responsive, though in significant pain, and his neurological recovery remains uncertain.
