Investigative Genetic Genealogy Center

Combining traditional and genetic genealogy, the Investigative Genetic Genealogy (IGG) Center provides investigative leads in cases of violent crimes and unidentified human remains. Students, faculty and staff of the IGG center can impact society by helping to exonerate the wrongfully convicted, reunite the long-term unidentified with their families, and provide justice for victims of violent crimes.
