Roberto Souza Memorial Scholarship

Roberto Souza's humble spirit and warm smile influenced untold numbers of people. Roberto pastored churches in Brazil before becoming the President of the Baptist seminary in Rio. Later, Souza became the Director of Ethnic Ministry for the Baptist Convention of New England where he trained many ethnic pastors. After retiring from the BCNE, he continued mentoring young pastors because it was his passion. 

He graduated to glory on February 25, 2021.

In keeping with his lifelong commitment to train ministers, a scholarship fund has been set up in his memory to assist leaders of ethnic churches.
