An Evening to Celebrate Education - The Legacy of Servant of God Thea Bowman
Join us on April 30, 2026 from 5:00 - 7:30 p.m. as we welcome our honoree, His Eminence, Wilton Cardinal Gregory to the Duquesne University Power Center Ballroom to help celebrate our scholars.
The Sister Thea Bowman Foundation began on October 19, 1989 in Burlington, Vermont at St. Michael’s College. Sister Thea Bowman, one of the founders was present, along with thirty-seven Thea Bowman Scholars.
For thirty-seven years, the Sister Thea Bowman Foundation has reached down the ladder with students and donors, and in prayer to provide support for those with their backs against the wall and with no hope.
We look forward to you joining us and celebrating our scholars and our honoree, Wilton Cardinal Gregory, in the Duquesne University Power Center Ballroom in Pittsburgh.
