October 11 Vet Tech Work Shop High School Range (15-17 years)

Throughout the workshop, participants are introduced to basic veterinary concepts,common health issues, and preventive care. Through interactive demonstrations and engaging discussions, students learn practical skills and get to speak directly with working professionals in the animal care field. One of the highlights of the workshop is the opportunity for participants to interact directly with trained professionals and get a behind-the-scenes tour of our clinic. Additionally, the workshop emphasizes the importance of compassion and empathy in veterinary medicine, teaching students how to communicate effectively with both animals and their owners. By the end of the workshop, participants come away with a greater appreciation for the field of veterinary medicine and the vital role that veterinary technicians play in caring for animals.
