About R.I.A Africa (Redemption In Action )
I was born and raised in Cote d'Ivoire. This old French colony lies in Africa. At a very early age I was exposed to the hospital environment thanks to my mother being midwife. I witnessed not only the dire working conditions but also the pain and suffering caused by lack of affordable medical equipment and resources. Despite the government’s best efforts, countless people are still going through the same ordeal and valuable lives are being lost every day.
To make the matter worst, statistics show that a higher rate of humanitarian donations and social development projects seem to be mostly directed toward old colonial English speaking countries resulting in my country being left behind.
However, in 2016, I met a Christian couple from Denver Colorado with a missionary heart, Ricki and Johnny Hein cared enough to introduce me to PROJECT CURE. and ever since we have working together to start a long term self-sustained project to ship at least once a year a cargo container of medical supplies to Cote d'Ivoire with the aim to equip rural clinics, provide first hand logistics, support and save lives and ultimately transform the healthcare system.
Would you care enough to help us achieve this goal?
