Sustain International Connection & Community

InterPlay SIS creates safe spaces for women to break out of their isolation through monthly in-person Play & Potlucks where they are invited into a new culture by sharing their stories, moving their bodies and having the opportunity to exform trauma while integrating body, mind, heart, and spirit across cultures and generations. Our SIS community consists of women of all ages who are seeking asylum from social and political persecution, other international women, and American citizens living in the metro-Atlanta area. Our online global SIS playshops attract new SISters both from the United States and other parts of the world. InterPlay Sustaining International Sisters (SIS) became a 501c3 nonprofit through the Body Wisdom office in 2020.

In August, 2023, SIS brought Secrets of InterPlay to 14 women thanks to your financial support. In 2024, we look forward to offering Life Practice to our sisters. As many of our participants are in transition financially or living elsewhere in the United States, SIS will need financial support to include those women who want to participate in this amazing submersive InterPlay experience.

Your gift will help SIS with the following:

Atlanta rental space cost ($135 each month for 12 months, totaling $1,620)

Play & Potluck expenses for supplies ($100 each month, totaling $1,200)

Transportation for special needs when carpool is unavailable ($200)

SIS domain name and website fee (annually $177)

Pro Zoom account (annually $180)

Stipend to run SIS ($200 each month for 12 months, totaling $2,400)

Honorarium for guest facilitators ($30/$50/$100 per workshop, estimated total $600)

Expenses to meet operational costs: $6,377

Partial Scholarships for SISters Life Practice: $10,000

TOTAL SIS FUNDRAISING GOAL 2024: $16,377
