Building on the success of Helping Babies Survive, the Helping Mothers Survive suite of training programs will provide health workers with skills in prevention, detection and management of the leading causes of maternal deaths, especially those associated with childbirth. In partnership with Jhpiego (a non-profit health organization affiliated with The John Hopkins University) we will train Project C.U.R.E. U.S. Master Trainers to launch a national training effort for this program. A national roll out will provide for the development of a database of master trainers to draw from, in order to implement the HMS program across Project C.U.R.E. international sites and partners.
