Fr. Ryan Council 5025 has always supported smaller local charities helping those with Intellectual Disabilities in our community. These groups often have had to adapt to changes in their charitable mission. One example is St Mary of Providence whose original focus was on babies and small children who often were served by their residential home. As many of their clients aged and lost other support, they adapted their mission to basicly an adult population. This group is celebrating their 100th Anniversay this year. 

      We have seven other similar charities that we support in addition to Illinois Special Olympics
