The Intellectual Disabilities Drive (“ID Drive” or "Tootsie Roll Drive") is one of the most recognizable activities that the Knights of Columbus do each year. All proceeds collected are distributed to local programs directly supporting children and/or adults with intellectual disabilities.

Last year, the donations collected by Maria Council #4836 benefited Avenues to Independence, Have Dreams, Misericordia, St. Mary of Providence’s SPRED program, Maine East High School’s special education department, Special Gifts Theatre, and Special Olympics of Illinois.
