Our council donates all proceeds to help support the SPRED groups at St. Edward and Mary Undoer of Knots parishes  

SPRED is a Catholic religious education program called Special Religious Development that focuses on forming faith communities for children and adults with developmental and learning challenges. Through one-on-one friendships, symbolic preparation, and the sharing of faith, SPRED helps participants develop a sense of belonging, realize their giftedness, and prepare for full participation in the sacramental life of the Church. It is a program supported by the Archdiocese of Chicago and is offered in various parishes throughout the Chicago area.
