When I started volunteering with Family Promise in October 2016, I had NO CLUE that so many children were experiencing homelessness. Help me change that!
On June 20, I will be sleeping not in my bed to help raise awareness of family homelessness and to help raise funds to change the lives of children experiencing homelessness in our community. $35 - One Task of Gas allowing a parent to work full-time.
$75 - Two Weeks of After School Care of One Child allowing a parent to work full-time.
$150 - One Week of Camp for One School-Aged Child allowing a parent to work full-time while schools are closed for holiday or season breaks.
$200 - One Week of Full-Time Childcare allowing a parent to work full-time.
$500 - Two Weeks of Childcare & Transportation allowing a parent to work full-time.
$1000 - One Month of Case Management & Resource Navigation for One Family
$3200 - ADOPT A FAMILY FOR ONE MONTH: Services for ONE FAMILY including childcare, transportation & case management
$10000 - EMPOWER A FAMILY TO REACH SUSTAINABLE INDEPENDENCE
Typically, each family participates in the Family Promise Program for 90 – 120 days. By providing parents with case management, education and supports to be able to work full-time and gain new skills and habits, families can attain sustainable independence ensuring stability for the children.
