In these times, more than ever, our diverse sisters need to come together, connect, and support one another. We need safe spaces where we can engage, share, and lighten the burdens we carry — together.

SIS brings together women from around the world to connect, inspire, and learn from one another through InterPlay. SIS needs help supporting their local and international programs with a zoom account, website, rental space, potluck supplies and facilitation fees. In addition, we are looking for funds to give partial  scholarships to two sisters for InterPlay SIS Life Practice taking place in 2026.

Sustain International Connection & Community

InterPlay SIS creates safe spaces for women to break out of their isolation through regular in-person Play & Potlucks where they are invited into a new culture by sharing their stories, moving their bodies and having the opportunity to exform trauma while integrating body, mind, heart, and spirit across cultures and generations. Our SIS community consists of women of all ages who are seeking asylum from social and political persecution, other international women, and American citizens living in the metro-Atlanta area. Our online global SIS playshops attract new SISters both from the United States and other parts of the world. InterPlay Sustaining International Sisters (SIS) became a 501c3 nonprofit through the Body Wisdom office in 2020.  

Your gift will help SIS with the following:

• Atlanta rental space cost ($500 annual)
• Play & Potluck expenses for supplies ($100 each month)
• Transportation for special needs when carpool is unavailable ($200 annually)
• SIS domain name and website fee (annually $177) 
• Pro Zoom account (annually $180) 
• Stipend to run SIS ($200 each month)
• Honorarium for guest facilitators ($500)
• Expenses to meet operational costs:             
• Partial Scholarships for Two SISters Life Practice: $2,500
