Rugerero Health Center is Health Builder's largest infrastructure project. Located in the Rubavu District in Northwest Rwanda, Rugerero is one of the most densely populated areas of the country outside of the capital city of Kegali, This 5,638 square foot primary care center will serve approximately 43,000 people including 10,097 women of child-bearing age, 6,379 children under 5 and 1,434 children under 1.

Health Builders is dedicated to addressing the critical barriers to quality primary health care services in Rwanda. Since 2007, Health Builders has increased access to primary health care services for more than 2 million Rwandans.
For every $1 donated to this project, more than $20 of medical supplies and equipment will be donated to the new Rugerero Health Center.
