Help Thibault Bénistant

UPDATE AUG 11:THIBAULT BENISTANT RECOVERY UPDATE

After taking the time he needed to process his situation, Thibault Benistant is ready to share where he stands today.

Thibault sustained a spinal cord injury and is now in full-time rehabilitation. Until now, he has not felt ready to speak about it publicly. News like this takes time to absorb, and every injured athlete deserves to tell their own story, in their own words, when they are ready.

Here is what we can tell you: he is all in. Every single day, physically, mentally and emotionally, Thibault brings to rehab the exact same fight he brought to the starting gate.

This is a long road. There are good days and hard days, and no fixed timeline. So Thibault is not counting the months. He is counting the wins, and he is stacking them up one session at a time.

Anyone who knows Thibault knows the strength, the determination and the fighting spirit that took him to the very top of world motocross. He has every bit of it. What he should not have to carry, on top of the work, is the cost of it.

Road 2 Recovery is proud to stand beside him. A Road 2 Recovery cause page is now open to help cover rehabilitation, medical care, equipment and the unexpected costs that come with a chapter like this one. Every contribution, whatever the amount, goes straight into letting him focus on the only thing that matters right now: moving forward.

We are asking for your help in the way of donations now.

More ways to support him are on the way, including donated memorabilia and other fundraising initiatives.

To his fans, his friends, his sponsors, his teammates and the entire motocross community: rally around him. Send him your messages, your energy, your support, and remind him that the paddock is behind him for the long haul.

Thibault, you are not alone. We believe in you and we are on this road with you. One day, one session, one win at a time.

On May 24, Thibault Bénistant sustained a life-changing injury during the French Grand Prix.

A multiple Grand Prix winner, Thibault has built an outstanding motocross career through talent, determination, and dedication to the sport he loves. At such a young age, he still had so much more to achieve on and off the track.

Today, Thibault and his family are facing an uncertain future and the many challenges that come with a serious injury. While it is still too early to fully understand what lies ahead, one thing is certain: the road to recovery will be long, demanding, and costly.

As Thibault begins this new chapter, your support can make a meaningful difference. Donations will help provide the resources and assistance he needs as he works to rebuild his life and focus on his recovery.

If you would like to support Thibault and his family during this difficult time, please consider making a donation through his Road2Recovery page. Every contribution, no matter the size, will help provide vital support on the journey ahead.
