Every year, the WCR7 Schools Foundation awards nearly $20,000 in scholarships for graduating WC Seniors planning to continue their education. Examples include Honor Diploma and retirement recognition scholarships. Since its inception, the Foundation has awarded over $900,000 to graduating seniors from WC High School.
Individual scholarships are an investment in the future of our whole community!
"My name is Cameron Tournear, and I am a senior at Missouri Southern State University and Ozark Christian College. I am pursuing a degree in both elementary education and ministry which the Webb City Foundation Scholarship has helped make possible. Throughout college, I have worked at Carterville Christian Church and Boys and Girls Club investing into the next generation of Webb City Cardinals. The scholarship has helped me worry less about finding a lucrative paying job and enabled me to have a greater focus on the difference I am making pouring into the lives of the next generation. I am grateful for the way that my community has invested into me and it has only encouraged me to continue to invest in the future Cardinals to come.”
Cameron Tournear has since graduated from MSSU and OCC and returned to the WC School District where he teaches 4th Grade at Eugene Field!
Thank you for your investment in our students and our community!
