<p>Suggested Fundraising Goal: $500 (enough to cover 20% of one student’s travel costs to Ghana)</p> <p> </p> <p>I’m raising funds for Tumaini DC’s 3rd Annual Sankofa Study Abroad Experience—an opportunity that will take DC youth to Ghana in Summer 2026. Through this program, students immerse themselves in Ghana’s history, culture, and service while developing resilience, leadership, and a global vision for their future.</p> <p><br>Past Sneaker Ball fundraisers have already helped 50+ students and educators travel abroad- all expenses paid, transforming lives and opening doors to new possibilities. This year, Tumaini DC’s goal is to raise $75,000 so even more youth can experience this life-changing journey.</p> <p><br>By supporting my campaign, you’re helping a student step on a plane, walk in the footsteps of their ancestors, and return home inspired to lead and create change in their community.
