Honoring the Life of John Welch

The motorcycle racing community is mourning the loss of John Welch, a respected member of the AMA Pro Racing operations team who dedicated more than 30 years to the sport. John passed away following the Indianapolis round of AMA Supercross, leaving behind a legacy of professionalism, passion, and quiet dedication.

Known throughout the paddock as someone who worked tirelessly behind the scenes, John helped keep events running smoothly and earned deep respect across Motocross, Flat Track, and Supercross.

Road 2 Recovery sends our heartfelt condolences to his daughters, McKenna and Brittany, and all who loved him. We are assisting in raising funds to help support funeral and cremation expenses as the racing community comes together to honor one of our own.
