Elyssa’s Mission is a community-based organization, founded in 2006 in honor of MY Elyssa, a bright, gifted and outgoing girl who bravely battled post-traumatic stress disorder and depression.

EM provides suicide prevention to over 260 Illinois schools spanning 19 counties and more than 110 suburbs. Last year EM educated 73,000 students. Over 5000 students were identified as needing mental health services and 160 students were immediately hospitalized.
