Finn gives back
The rescue I am doing my dog training apprenticeship with, and that is generously helping me with my dog Finn and his behavioral challenges, needs financial support to continue helping needy animals.
For the past 15 years, Motley Zoo has been a lifeline to the most vulnerable—saving over 5,000 "underdogs" (and cats!)—more than 30% of them with special needs or medical challenges.
But now, for the first time in their history, they are facing a heartbreaking reality: the rising costs of veterinary care have left a significant gap in their budget.
Motley Zoo needs to raise $100,000 ASAP to make ends meet- and they are asking each of their dedicated crew of advocates (ME!) to raise $100.
But I know my friends are generous - so I've set my goal at $1000.
- *All* donations will be matched by me! (Dollar for dollar up to $100 per donation; $3000 total.)
WEEK 1 UPDATE: I have matched the first ten donations through a grant of $828 through Fidelity Charitable. I'm assuming the MSFT employees will be matching their donations as well, bringing in an additional $502. This magically transforms $1082 into $2412 - showing that every little bit does help!
