Archbishop Schlarman Council #3507 Pekin, IL Intellectual Disabilities Drive
The Knights of Columbus is conducting their Annual Intellectual Disabilities Drive. We collect donations to benefit local organizations that assist individuals with special learning needs.
NINETY PERCENT (90%) of the proceeds remain locally to be distributed to such organizations as:
- Ann Benjamin Handicapped Children’s Summer Camp, affiliated with Tazewell County Resource Center
- Schramm Education Center serving Tazewell County
- Pekin YWCA Adaptive Aquatics/Special Olympics Swim Program
- Pekin Park District Special Recreation Association (Special Olympics Program)
- Central Illinois Riding Therapy
The remaining TEN PERCENT (10%) goes to the Illinois State Knights of Columbus Council for the State Special Olympics and group homes for the handicapped.
If you would prefer to donate by check, make checks payable to Knights of Columbus ID Drive, and mail to P.O. Box 1194, Pekin, IL 61555.
Over the last 20 years our local Council has distributed over $225,000 to local organizations supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities!!
