Wave of Light Remembrance Walk

October 15, 2025

$2,830 of $5,000

Come Walk, Pray, and Remember

The Wave of Light is a gathering of families, friends, and supporters who come together to honor the precious babies gone too soon through miscarriage, stillbirth, or infant loss. We come together to remember our babies and find hope in Christ. We will walk together in remembrance, encourage hope, and hold space for both love and grief. At 7:00 p.m. (the global Wave of Light time), we will light candles and read each baby name with care. You are welcome here, whether you have faced loss or are coming to support someone you love.

Event details:

  • Date: October 15
  • Registration: 5:00 p.m.
  • Reflection Walk: 6:00–6:30 p.m.
  • Message of Hope: 6:40–6:55 p.m.
  • Candlelight Vigil & Reading of Names: 7:00 p.m.
  • Location: 810 W 29th St, Higginsville, MO 64037
  • Tickets: Free

Once you register below, you may add your baby’s name to be read during the ceremony. There will also be the option to add their name at the event check-in, but pre-registering is encouraged, if possible. If you did not choose a name, you can list Baby [Last Name], like “Baby Brown.” We will speak each name with love and purpose. Hearing their name brings comfort and reminds us we are not alone.

See Their Name. Share Their Light.

You can honor a baby with a personalized Memorial Sign for $30. We will display it along the Reflection walk and read their name during the candlelight vigil. Seeing their name offers a tender, visible tribute. Your purchase also helps fund local support groups, partnership with Lullaby of Hope for intentional care packages, cuddle cots for surrounding hospitals, events like the Wave of Light, and other means to help support loss families. Deadline to order your memorial sign is October 8th. (ORDERING NOW CLOSED)

Your Gift Brings Comfort and Hope

Your donation helps us meet families with gentle, Christ-centered care. We provide local support groups, partnership with Lullaby of Hope for intentional care packages, cuddle cots for surrounding hospitals, events like the Wave of Light, and follow-up in the months after loss.

This ministry reminds hurting hearts that God sees them, loves them, and has not left them. Your gift says, “You are deeply loved, seen, and never alone.”

Please consider a monthly gift so we can be ready the moment a family reaches out.

This is a beautiful way to honor their life and to say, “Their life mattered and still does." It is also a way to keep their light shining for others. It’s simple to set up, meaningful to share, and a beautiful tribute that helps hurting families feel seen and not alone.

My heart goes out to you and your family and the many families who have lost precious little ones. I was 19 weeks pregnant when we lost our little boy. That was 43 years ago. I still grieve. We will see him in heaven someday.
