In 2013, Beverly Levy assembled her own league of everyday heroes around her kitchen table with one bold mission: to create a community walk where thrivers at every stage of their journey could step forward, feel empowered, and unite with their friends, families, and our much-loved medical team — our real-life super squad. Together, they would raise powerful dollars to fuel gynecologic cancer research at the Yale School of Medicine.
Though Beverly may no longer walk beside us, her heroic spirit still leads the charge. We renamed the walk in her honor, ensuring that her legacy shines on — a beacon of courage, strength, and unstoppable heart.
Now it’s time to assemble once again.
Join us on Sunday, May 3rd, at the Orange Fairgrounds (535 Orange Center Road) from 10:00 AM–2:00 PM for a day of unity, hope, and heroic energy.
Register solo, build your own super team, or join forces with others — and spend the day celebrating strength, survivorship, and community. It’s an action-packed event fun for the whole family.
Suit up. Show up. Step forward.
Together, we are stronger than cancer.
"Together as a community, we create Teal Power." On this day we will be recognizing our thrivers, caregivers, medical team, and families as we join together to raise funds for the early detection, prevention and research of gynecologic cancers for the Yale School of Medicine.
We will have a special honor in memory of Ruthann Beckerman- a woman of strength and wisdom, a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, and someone whose love for life touched all who knew her. Her spirit continues to inspire our community as we stand together in support, remembrance, and hope.
