The Running Refugees will once again hit the road on October 22nd for a 300 mile relay from Chicago, IL to Dearborn, MI. This year, the Running Refugees Relay 2.0 is dedicated to raising funds to provide hearing aids for the people of Palestine.
Proceeds from the relay will support the organization HearAide. Led by founder Dr. Randa Mansour-Shousher, a team of doctors will travel to the West Bank in January 2022 to provide children with diagnostic audio logical assessment ( hearing testing ) to determine the type of hearing loss. Hearing aid evaluations are then performed and hearing aids are evaluated, fit and fine tuned. Relay Participants have the option to run or bike beginning Friday October 22 in Chicago and will finish at the historic Arab-American National Museum in Dearborn Saturday October 23. The Team will leave Dearborn late Sunday morning October 24 and drive back to Chicago with an early evening arrival. Participants can register for the RRR at www.runningrefugees.com. Spots are limited for this event!
