BSA Fall Fun Run & Carnival Fundraiser

The Fall Fun Run is Buford Senior Academy's only fundraiser of the year. Students are working hard to get donations for their race. They are excited to raise money for their school and earn prizes at the same time! All the proceeds from the race will help purchase much needed items for the school.

Buford Senior Academy is committed to creating an environment where students can thrive academically, socially, and physically. We are currently raising funds to enhance our building with stationary bikes in the Media Center, allowing students to engage in reading while riding (which could be a new club in the future). We're also working on providing every student with durable Chromebook cases to better protect their Chromebook which are used daily. Our students have also requested Buddy Benches to promote inclusion and friendship on the playground. In addition, we are continuing our efforts to expand shade options so students and teachers can enjoy outdoor activities in a safe and comfortable setting. We have a friendly competition going among our students and classes to see who can raise the most money.

The class who raises the most money in each grade weekly (the weekly amount, not total over multiple weeks) will win a class prize!

• Wk 1: Planet Smoothie party in the classroom (9/30)
• Wk 2: Extra recess (10/7)
• Wk 3: Bussin' Sweets frozen treats (10/14)
• Wk 4: Board game party in the classroom (10/21)
• Wk 5: Pizza Party in the classroom (10/28)

• The teacher who raises the most money in each grade weekly will win a special lunch plus freebies from Planet Smoothie!
• The top fundraising class in each grade wins a DQ Blizzard Party!
• Each class who meets their goal earns extra Recess time!

If students bring in donaton money, they'll earn prizes the week of Nov. 3rd

• $20: Dressdown Day (11/3)
• $50: Frozen Frenzee Sno-Cones & playground party (11/3)
• $100: Silent Disco Party (11/4)
• $150: Glow Dodgeball with a concession stand pass (11/5)
• $250: UA Rise Flag Football Obstacle Course experience (11/6)
• $500 Lunch with a group of Buford HS athletes (11/7)
• $1,000: SRO/Principal for the Day 

The top 5 students to raise the most money will choose from the following prizes: 

• Skate Country party package
• Georgia Swarm ticket package
• Sleepy TeePee party package
• Premium Lego Set 
• The Dojo party package 

The top teacher in each grade will win a Local Collection gift bag stuffed with Buford apparel/gifts PLUS a gift certificate to Shenanigans Hair Studio & Spa & “The trio of fan favorites” facials from Blessed Beauty.

Important Dates

Our Fall Fun Run campaign begins on Sept.19th. The race takes place on Oct. 24th, and all donations must be turned in by 9AM on Oct. 27th for students and classes to qualify for the final prizes.
