Night Without a Bed

Family Promise of Gwinnett is once again hosting our “Night Without a Bed” fundraising event, kicking off on June 1st! We’re challenging our supporters, followers, and volunteers to be willing to sleep without a bed on the night of June 26th. While embarking on this mission to sleep without a bed, you will raise awareness for the on-going issue of family homelessness within Gwinnett County, while raising funds to help us end homelessness one family at a time. Ready to get involved?!
 
Each individual will be challenged to reach the Family Promise of Gwinnett fundraising goal of $500 per participant. You can start raising funds as early as June 1st and have a month to reach the goal. On the night of June 26th, we ask our participants to sleep anywhere without a bed: cars, tents, a treehouse, your living room floor, or a couch and share your experience on social media using the hashtag: #FPOGnightwithoutabed. However, if you reach the Family Promise of Gwinnett fundraising goal by June 26th, you will gain the privilege of sleeping in your own bed AND receive a “Family Promise Keeper” t-shirt from Family Promise of Gwinnett!
 
Getting excited?! Now, don’t forget, you don’t have to participate in the month-long challenge alone. This is a great opportunity to get your friends and family involved to fundraise with you! In addition, we are giving out awards to the TOP 3 fundraisers from each category: individuals, teams, and congregations.
