On November 4th, I will be running the 2018 TCS NYC Marathon in honor of my heroes - my pediatric patients who battle brain tumors - and also to raise money for the Children's Brain Tumor Family Foundation, 100% of which will support the research we are conducting at my lab at Weill Cornell Medicine.
Cancer is the number one killer of children, and brain cancer has the worst survival rates of them all. Many of the children I see suffer from rare and inoperable brain tumors. Their prognosis is very poor. I have dedicated my life to changing the statistics for these children with the launch of the Children's Brain Tumor Project Research Lab at Weill Cornell Medicine.
Your donation will go directly to support the ground-breaking research efforts at the Children's Brain Tumor Project, and bring hope to the children and families suffering from this heartbreaking disease. Please help us get one step closer to finding a cure by clicking "Register Now" to make a donation and sponsor one of the 26.2 miles I will run for on November 4.
Thank you for your support.
